Early MI-PhUn Week Fun at Crawfordsville's "The Science of Brains" Event!

Physiologists, neuroscientists, and students from Wabash College in Crawfordsville, IN hosted "The Science of Brains" at the Carnegie Museum of Montgomery County on October 29th, 2022.  Nearly 200 local kids and families learned about the brain's role in physiology by testing their reflexes, touching real sheep brains, and building their own neuron models out of pipe cleaners.  Attendees even got to learn how heart rate, sweating, and breathing rate can help us tell the truth from a lie with a real-life lie detector test!
