What is MI-PhUn Week?

MI-PhUn week is our collaboration with the Michigan Physiological Society to engage K-12 schools and our local communities with physiology!

This November 7-18th, we will be getting out into our communities to

  • Increase interest in and understanding of physiology
  • Introduce students to physiology as a possible career
  • Build connections between universities and local schools
  • and have PhUn with Physiology!!

How you can get involved:

  • Connect with local K-12 science educators to plan a class visit

  • Host a student group at your college or university to learn about physiology research
  • Partner with your local library, museum, or scouting group to do a physiology demonstration
  • Make a video sharing your PhUn physiology knowledge

Want an easy way to share physiology with your community?  Share our

Physiology Science Sketches!

These online outreach videos were created by physiology students from Wabash College in Crawfordsville, IN.  Each video explains a cool physiology concept in 2 minutes or less!  Watch below and share with a friend to spread the physiology fun during PhUn week!

Want to make your own Science Sketch?  https://www.sciencesketches.org/how-to has free resources and tutorials!
